A leisure activity near the sea that I’d like to experience is the bonfire party（篝火晚会）. I first got to know about this thing from a movie and thought it must be extremely cool to hold a party like this with my friends or family members on a beach.

As far as I know，there aren’t many things to prepare. Off the top of my head（首先想到的是）, we should take into account（考虑） local laws so that nothing serious would ruin our party. When it comes to a party associated with fire, safety is the first and foremost thing. Then we would prepare some foods and beverages that could satisfy our appetite when we are hungry. In addition to this, probably some blankets and long sleeve clothing can be added to our list if we want to keep warm and tidy.

I feel that setting fire would be difficult as I don’t have any experience of igniting（点燃） the wood against the strong wind coming from the sea. But I believe we can figure it out if we could find a place that can accommodate the materials and tools.

Well，the main reason why I am eager to throw a bonfire party near the sea is that it is a good opportunity to enhance my family or friends bonding（关系，纽带）. You know, through activities like setting up the party, singing, chichatting（闲聊） and enjoying the fire, we might feel that life isn’t actually that boring, and there are actually more unknowingly interesting things we can discover from each other such as humor, empathy（共情） and so forth.

The advantage of spending your holiday near the seaside is simple and relaxing because staying at sea does not need you to rush around various tourist attractions（走马观花各种景点） and take many photos. What you should do is sit on the beach, just relaxing and thinking nothing. However, in some people’s minds, leisure activities related to the sea are relatively kind of monotonous（有点单调）.

#Why do people like spending time on the sea?

I think some people want to have the experience of wandering aimlessly(无目的的游荡）. In addition, confronted with boundless sea（无边无际的大海）, we will feel the human is too helpless before nature, which is totally different from that on earth.

You know, children have the nature to play with water. They can gain a lot of pleasure from the water, but adults often feel this experience is a little boring and monotonous.

The first coming into my mind is the sailor, who are wandering on the sea all the year around. Besides, some people can feed on the sea like fishermen, who catch the fresh fish from the sea and sell them to the restaurant. of course, lifeguard at the seaside resort（海滨浴场的救生员） is also a popular profession related to the sea
