Asfar as I know, in my city, the big companythatemploys a largenumber ofpeopleis atextileproducingcompany. ItsnameisXXX. It is one of theleadingmanufacturersof textilesandfilament yarn.XXXwas thefirstmanufacturer in thecountryto introduceeco-friendly fabric made of organiccotton. It hasabout 10000employees and Iam sureit'smore thanenoughto say thatitemploysa lot of people.

There is hardlyanyonein ourcitythatdoesn'tknowor haseverheardabout thiscompany as it isone ofthe biggestemployersnot onlyin ourcitybut alsoin thecountry. Despitethefact thatnowadaystheproduction isautomated, numbers of peopleare stillinvolvedin alltheprocess. There are manyplantsworkersthatclean, prepare, and monitorequipment.Some of them, perhaps, carryoutmaintenance work.Also, I am surethatthereare anumber ofcontrollersand supervisors that have to make surehealth and safetyrequirements areobserved. I guessthere aresomeengineersthat provide assistanceanddirectionto other plantpersonnel, conductanoperationaltesttoensurethatdesigns fall within theexpectedspecifications, and probably, designand improveprocesses toincreaseplant productionefficiency and quality. It hasa productioncapacityof 63 million meters offabric per annum. I supposethe mainfactorwhichdeterminesthe size of thecompanyis thenumber of peoplethat itemploys. AsI havesaid before, it hasabout10000 employees.

Also, Iread a newspaperarticleabout thecompany, and now Ican saythatanotherfactor that allows it toqualify as a verybig oneis the annual revenue of morethanXXX.
